4th of July(: Random road trip!

So I'm just getting home. & I must say this has had to have been the best 4th of July I've ever had. 

I went to Charles family BBQ who is my friend/brother/ best friends boyfriend. The BBQ was amazing along with his awesome ass family! Then after that me him and my best friend Koisey headed to Earl Brown park, where I showed them exactly where in the park I had my first kiss. Then we just sat on top of the jungle gym & talked. We talked about life,love,sex,college,growing up, personal struggles etc! It really opened my eyes as to appreciating the kind of people I have in my life. Then here's where the fun part happend! We went to Nala's (my other best friend). After we sparked a couple of fire crackers & shit we went to Nala's room, where me Nala,Koisey,Charles & Larrick(Nala's bf) were just chillen!

Then I had a foolish idea. 

Me: let's skip town 

keep in mind I'm just talking shit

Me: let's go to Wisconsin get a bag of chips & go home, 

Larrick & Nala: I'm down!!

So idk where our minds were but the 5 of us just got in my car and drove! It was amazing because at that exact moment I didn't care about anything. I didn't want to be doing anything else with anybody else! These are my best friends & I appreciate every & any adventure I have w/ them.

So we kept driving listening to some Kid Ink & shit, dancing w/ the wind blowing through my weave lol. It literally felt so damn right. Anyways once we got there! We ended up at a gas station called freedom
which was funny since it is the 4th! We parked that bitch & started shaking whole ass outside that damn gas station! Then we went to Mcdonalds where Nala & Koisey got something to eat, then Taco Bell for me & the guys! Btw both places got our orders wrong but we wasn't trippen. We were all just stunned that we just randomly drove to another state! (Black kids don't just do that shit guys).. So then we parked in a parking lot to eat. It was quiet for a second & we all realized that nothing has gone wrong yet, which is very weird because w/ us something bad always gots to happen! We brushed it off & began out journey back to MN..... All of a sudden we see cop siren behind us. I'm like awww shit my life is over! (Let me remind you I have an African parent that doesn't know I'm out of state) the cop told Charles he was going 80 on a 60 speed limit. Then the cop asked me for my car insurance. Which turned out to be expired.... She gave me this paper that my mom has to send in to prove she has insurance.... I'm over here thinking my life is over cause now my mom will ask why tf I was in Wisconsin anyway. Then Larrick said "Oyinda we are in MN!" & I'm like THANK GOD!!!!! I got home & my mom wasn't even trippen! Again THANK GOD!

So all in all tonight was great! 

You will never be as young as you are right now! So live life to the fullest(:
